Red, white and blue trunks were worn by the boxer/sociopath on July 7, 1984 at the United States Olympic Box-Offs in Las Vegas, Nevada in a bout versus Henry Tillman. The fight would become Tyson's elimination from the 1984 Olympic Team, though Tyson did avenge this loss by knocking out Tillman, in the first round, as a professional, on June 16, 1990. Patriotic trunks show fine use, as they were used in far more than this single bout, and are attractively mounted for display in a large shadow box. Lot includes photograph of Tyson wearing the trunks, and a letter of authenticity from world famous boxing photographer Tom Casino.
