Only one known of this inner industry large 11x14" brochure and order form. Advertises the desired 2nd series high numbers and pictures these amazing treatments by George Moll of the 1937 Sino-Japanese War. Perhaps best of all it pictures and offers the famed "Christmas" box set that was offered in legitimate department stores. Hence, this brochure was an attempt by Gum, Inc. to break into the huge mainstream toy market with their line of cards and bypassing the confectionary market which was their previous standard bearer. Apparently it did not work. Some years ago we sold at auction one of these incredibly rare boxed sets filled with desirable unopened cello packs for nearly $50k. Originally it was a buck according to this. Couple tears, and simply amazing piece saved in the Fleer Archive, kept by the firm to keep track of the competition.
