Something you never see, this resplendent World Series trophy was presented to a minor league affiliate, BEFORE they became such. Presented to the owners of the Hagerstown Suns who in 1992 was NOT affiliated with the Blue Jays, but naturally the "local" major league team the Baltimore Orioles. However, this trophy was given as reward or perhaps inducement to come over to the Toronto Blue Jays where they stayed for the next decade. Attractive spires reach to the sky featuring the 26 flags of the Major League teams. Stands 12 inches tall at its highest point, the base is accentuated by mini press pins of the Toronto Blue jays and Atlanta Braves. Minor wear with some pitting on the flags.
