September 29, 1972 letter from President Richard Milhous Nixon to future HOFer Harmon Clayton Killebrew, Jr. This letter is a product of the President, a major sports fan, being asked to name his all-time baseball team. And yes, he chose The Killer. It is rather informal for the President, but we believe he was in a good place in his love of the game of baseball. He speaks of collaborating with his daughter's husband David Eisenhower during a "quiet afternoon at Camp David". Furthermore, "Because you are a member of our all-time teams, I thought you might like to have a specially printed copy of the complete roster". Included herein is that very same and rarely seen roster with the Presidential seal embossed on front. Signature however is secretarial.
