Extremely rare. First one that we have seen of this rain check version. Hall of Famer Banks was the first African-American player for the Cubs, making his debut in 1953, after playing in the later stages of the Negro Leagues. Seventeen seasons later, he was playing at Wrigley Field on May 12th. against the Atlanta Braves and facing right-hander Pat Jarvis in the second inning when Banks hit a shot over the ivy in left-center for his 500th. home run, at the time only the ninth player in baseball history to accomplish this feat. Rain checks are scarce because only 5,264 attended the event.
