Wonderful keepsake of an early football showdown between two of college football's greatest rivals. Face of fob reads, "Harvard 4, Yale 0". Printed on a gold colored football, in appropriate school colors of maroon for Harvard and blue for Yale. Underneath score is inscribed "New Haven 1908". Back engraved "Harvard Club of Boston, to, H.F Corbett L.H.B". Chain affixed to fob, acting as bracelet. Corbett was Harvard's star, a 1908 Concensus All-American. A great valuable memento of an early national football classic as both schools came into their heated rivalry game undefeated, Harvard at 8-0-1 and Yale at 7-0-1. Harvard's victory resulted in retroactively having the Billingsley Report award Harvard the National Championship.
