An up close look at the mechanics of a Hall of Famer, this black & white image zooms in on the hands of Stan "The Man" Musial. Terrific detail is evident in this 8x10" photo, displaying the positioning of Musial's hands gripping one of the tools of his trade. A stamp from World Wide Photo is on the back, and a separate piece of paper was attached with typed caption; "Stan Musial's grip on the bat. Pix made at Ebbets Field, Brooklyn. 5-16-50." That paper has since become separated, leaving some residue on the reverse of the picture, but it is included. Some minor tears at the edges, but this crisp photo remains in VG-EX condition.
