Here is a great condition pre 1943 Hillerich and Bradsby 125 Phil Cavarretta game used bat. Cavarretta spent the bulk of his career in Chicago with the Cubs and was voted the National League Most Valuable Player in 1945 after leading the Cubs to the pennant and winning the batting title with a .355 average. This 35" Louisville Slugger is free of cracks and has evidence of game use with a nicely scored barrel and many ball marks. "Cavaretta" in block letters on the barrel indicates that he did not have an exclusive contract with Hillerich and Bradsby but did use their bats in numerous MLB games.
