Impressive standing coin-operated arcade machine shows the classic 1948 World's Flyweight Championship fight between Rinty Monaghan and Jackie Paterson in rich b/w hues. Extremely rare machine and film is one we have never seen. Priced at one cent, the machine stands 74" tall with marquee in hand-painted cardboard advertising the fight. Photos of the fighters on the billboard are all original vintage Type 1 but the cardboard sign has been expertly recreated, looking perhaps better than the original. Machine's brilliant gold paint is all-original and is in perfect working condition. Makes for a magnificent interactive display. The Irish Monaghan beat the tough Scot on March 23, 1948, to win the undisputed crown.
