From his earlier playing days is this Tommy Helms Cincinnati Reds fiberglass batting helmet. The "C" on the front is hand painted and a label marked "HELMS" is on the bill. The size 7 American Baseball Cap manufactured helmet shows lots of use. There is some paint chipping and a crack on the right side of the helmet, which gives it a lot of character. This item is from the Bernie Stowe collection.
