Functional art! Wayne Gretzky’s silver Easton 5100 used during the 1991 Canada Cup Tournament features a spectacular hand-painted blade portraying Wayne in his Team Canada uniform. Wayne commissioned noted sports artist Steve Houston to produce a limited production run of 60 pieces (numbered of 99). The stick has been signed by both Wayne and the artist on the throat of the blade and numbered “2/99”. The butt end has been marked “WD 1991” referring to the Canada Cup.
