Incredibly rare program from the 1909 World Series played between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Detroit Tigers. The series pitted two of the biggest stars of the day against one another - Honus Wagner and Ty Cobb - with Wagner's Pirates coming out on top in seven games to capture their first championship. Other notable players found in the unscored program include Fred Clarke, Sam Crawford, and Hughie Jennings. Cover and page after are detached, though the rest are intact. Condition is poor with visible creases, stains, and paper loss. Condition of the cover is consistent with rest of the program.
