Though the dynasty years were behind them, that does not lessen the importance of this 1985-86 Denis Potvin game worn Islanders jersey. Worn by one of the great defenseman in NHL history, this jersey has Maska tag in neck with "85 10" tag as well and captain's "C" on left breast. "Potvin" is in blue letters on a plate above his retired number "5" in blue on orange, and CCM and Syosset Sports logos are embroidered on the back tail. Best of all, it is hammered with use including slash marks, paint transfers, abrasions, loose stitching and four team repairs. Potvin served as Isles' captain for all four of their consecutive Stanley Cup championships from 1979-80 to 1982-83 and was an easy Hall of Fame selection.
