Magnificent crest across the front in elaborate hand embroidered multi-layered felt. Shows crossed hockey sticks and other equipment from hockey and sports team on Laura Lee Lake in Ontario, Canada. A most desired hockey sweater style is this 1920s wool sweater "turtleneck" style. Crest reads, "Play the Game Aura Lee" and sporting equipment including crossed hockey sticks, canoe and football. Below the chest patch is "Aura Lee" in sewn on white lettering. This treasured relic shows some aging with some pilling and holes. It does have some running of the color into the bottom white section. A great example of the sportswear of a bygone era.
