Excellent and unique game worn Cesar Geronimo jersey donned while the Reds were abroad for their 1978 Tour of Japan. Geronimo played center field on the "Big Red Machine" teams of the 1970s and won four consecutive Gold Glove Awards during the decade. This all-original road jersey shows moderate use, with "CINCINNATI 20" on the front and "GERONIMO" and "20" on the back. There is a Rawlings size 42 tag inside the front tail along with "1 INCH EXTRA LENGTH" and "SET 2 1978" flag tags. Note, this is the only time in the knit era that Rawlings made the road jerseys for the Reds; during the regular season, Wilson made their road jerseys. The uniform comes with matching pants that can't be confirmed to have been worn by Geronimo. They were, however, made for the Tour of Japan because they are also a Rawlings product and have the "R" on the right thigh. The pants are size 36 with a SET 2 1978 flag tag and additional INSEAM 21" flag tag.
