Lot Description  

Spectacular Type 1 wire photos of Willie Mays in his Santurce Cangrejeros uniform from 1954. 1) Mays shaking hands with executive in the stands while wearing his Cangrejeros Jersey. International News Photo stamp. NM. 2) Mays standing with Herman Franks during the '54 season wearing his Santurce Jersey. Original wire service tag on back dated October 18, 1954, as well as International News Photo stamp.
