Three Negro League Type 1 studio photos are by the noteworthy Hooks Brothers, the African-American photography studio which photographed the black elite of Memphis including the only known studio photograph of bluesman Robert Johnson. There are photos that show the 1948 Memphis Red Sox with Willie Wells. The third is of the New York Cubans with manager Ray Dandridge. All photos are 8x10".
