This beautiful Roberto Clemente bat was retired after use at a Crosley Field game between the Pirates and the Reds. The Hillerich & Bradsby Model U1 is 36" and 36.8 ounces, displaying tons of use with ball and seam marks all over the barrel. Green bat rack marks are also on the barrel and both ends, "21" is written in marker on the knob, and it is uncracked but has grain separation on the back of the barrel. Dating from the 1965-68 period, this specimen could come from Roberto's MVP season of 1966, in which the Puerto Rican superstar crashed 29 homers and drove in 119 with a .371 batting average.
