From a season and man that transcended baseball, this signed program and two tickets come from Jackie Robinson's rookie year with the Brooklyn Dodgers. The items date to September 20, 1947, when the Dodgers played the Braves and Robinson had all but wrapped up the NL's Rookie of the Year honors. The program is signed by Tommy Holmes and Ed Stevens and is scored inside. It also has a small tear on the top edge of its cover with tape residue. The two ticket stubs each have tape on top and bottom.
