One-page contract dated August 8th, 1925, between legendary boxing promoter Tex Rickard and Jack Dempsey’s manager Jack Kearns, in regards to a $25,000 advance on the Jack Dempsey v. Gene Tunney fight. Signed by both Rickard and Kearns, and framed with a photo picturing them both along with Jack Dempsey. Framed to 12x23". Most desired autograph here is that of Tex Rickard. This sports renaissance man was the leading boxing promoter of the day, founder of the New York Rangers (NHL), and builder of the third incarnation of Madison Square Garden in New York City. He passed away in 1929, hence the rarity of his autograph. Comes certified by PSA.
