Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig are two names as fabled as it gets in baseball lore. The two were the cornerstone of the New York Yankees dynasty of the 1920s and '30s that won four World Series during the 11 years the pair played alongside one another. In 1927, Ruth and Gehrig anchored a lineup known as "Murderer's Row" on a team that is widely considered to be one of the best of all time. That year, Ruth set his high-water mark for home runs in a single season with 60, while Gehrig led the league in RBIs with 173. This incredible baseball has been signed by only Ruth and Gehrig, and is a magnificent tribute to two of the best to ever don pinstripes. The Draper and Maynard Official League ball has blue and red stitches and is a very nice example; it is evenly toned and near EX condition. Ruth's signature appears on the sweet spot in 6.5/10 blue fountain ink, while a large Gehrig signature can be found on a side panel in the same blue ink, rating 6/10. The ball was signed circa 1928 and comes with PSA and SGC LOAs.
