An early 19th century English Staffordshire pearlware pitcher featuring the English champions Tom Spring and John Langan who fought in 1824, with Spring winning after 77 rounds. The fighters are prominently displayed along with an ornate floral design on this large pitcher. A few very small chips and some discoloration from aging, otherwise in fine condition. Exceptionally rare, especially in this size and condition.
