Lou Burdette and Bobby Shantz appear smiling, side-by-side in this card from the 1958 Topps baseball issue, with Burdette towering over the diminutive Shantz. The two played on opposing sides of the 1957 and '58 World Series, with the Braves taking the '57 crown and Burdette walking away as Series MVP. The Yanks turned the table on them the next year, but Shantz did not make any relief appearances. The card, entitled "Series Hurling Rivals," is #289 in the set and is PSA MINT 9.
