Frisch, otherwise known as "The Fordham Flash," is one of the most prolific switch-hitters in Major League history. He began his career with the New York Giants, racking up two World Series titles during his eight-year run with the team, before being traded to the St. Louis Cardinals, for whom he won an NL MVP Award in 1931. Frisch retired with a lifetime batting average of .316 - still the highest ever for a switch-hitter - and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1947.
