It's hard to imagine a more fitting artifact from a sporting venue on windy Lake Erie. This anemometer is circa 1960s from Cleveland's Municipal Stadium, and was used by the Browns to measure wind speed for punting purposes. Measuring nearly nine feet tall, it is comprised of two parts; the pole and a three-cup top, and the middle gauge reads the wind speed in MPH. Has scratches and paint chips, but still presents nicely despite its exposure to some frigid Ohio football action.
