From one of football's most iconic rivalries, this collection of 37 programs chronicles more than six decades of the Army-Navy Game in the early to mid-20th century. Army first met Navy on the gridiron in 1890 and the two have renewed the rivalry annually since 1930, with Navy holding the superior 60-51-7 record through 118 total meetings. The earliest program of the set features a football lace binding and comes from the 1906 edition of the game. The rest span the 1920s to '60s, with the breakdown as follows: 1920s (5) - 1926 (2), 1927 (2), 1928. 1930s (6) - 1932, 1934, 1936, 1937, 1938, 1939. 1940s (7) - 1940, 1941, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1948, 1949. 1950s (10) - 1950, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959. 1960s (8) - 1961, 1962, 1963, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969. There is some minor creasing, loose bindings, and small tears to come covers. The collection is overall in EX condition, though the earlier ones are in VG condition. This is a must-have anthology of one of the most important rivalries in the sport.
