Alfred E. Neuman is smiling away as the 35,000 year old sculpture, "The Venus of Willendorf." The Upper Paleolithic Venus figurine is constructed from mammoth ivory. It was discovered near Schelklingen, Germany, and it dates back to between 35,000 and 40,000 years ago and is the oldest depiction of a human being ever discovered. This artwork was created by Gregor Mecklenburg for the MAD Magazine German publication and is a rare find! Signed by Gregor Mecklenburg "Gregor" on the verso. Art is 7x9.5" and frame is 13x19".
