Another excellent installment of the Craig Patrick Collection, this signed mini hockey stick is an amazing relic from hockey royalty. Once owned by either Lynn or Lester Patrick, Craig's father and grandfather, respectively, the stick is signed by both teams that competed in the 1940 Stanley Cup: the New York Rangers and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Though he had stepped down as head coach, Lester was general manager of the Rangers when they defeated the Maple Leafs to win the Cup that year, a feat they would not accomplish again for 54 years. The victory was especially sweet for the Patrick family, as Lynn and his brother Muzz were both players on the team. The stick is in EX condition, with one side signed by the Rangers and the other by the Maple Leafs. The Rangers' side includes the signatures of Lester, Lynn and Muzz, as well as Hextall, Heller, Kerr, Coutler, Hiller, Mac and Neil Colville and more for a total of 16. While the Leafs' side includes Broda, Apps, Drillon, Davidson, McDonald, Hamilton, Horner, Marker and more with 14 total. All signatures are in black fountain ink and range from 2 to 9 and average about a 6. The stick measures 20" across and comes with PSA LOA.
