A titan of the sport, Gordie Howe was renowned for his prowess on the ice, but "Mr. Hockey" also gained notoriety for his incredible longevity. This game-used stick circa 1979-80 comes from Howe's time with the Hartford Whalers, when he made his triumphant return to the NHL at the ripe age of 51. The Koho 221 stick has original tape on the blade and butt end. The number "9" and "Howe" are written on the side of the shaft, and Howe also signed and personalized the stick in 8/10 black felt tip. It has seen only light use and is a fantastic relic from the twilight of an unbelievable career. Includes PSA LOA.
