Having "reversed the curse" three years prior, the Boston Red Sox entered 2007 with their demons fully exorcised. Their tour de force that year did experience some anxious moments in the ALCS, however, as the Cleveland Indians had them on the ropes heading into Game 5 after going up 3-1, but with their ace Josh Beckett on the hill, the Sox won handily, then steamrolled the Indians two more times to advance. They continued to cruise in the World Series, sweeping the Colorado Rockies en route to their 7th of eight World Series titles.
