Signed by a triumvirate of great New York teams from the 1950s, each of these three balls represent an important link to baseball's heyday in the Big Apple before it came to an untimely end a few years later. 1) The 1954 World Champion New York Giants ball possesses 22 signatures, most notably Willie Mays and Leo Durocher. It was during this year that Mays made "The Catch" during Game 1 of the World Series, and the Giants would go on to sweep the Indians to claim the title. 2) The 1954 New York Yankees failed to make the World Series, but posted an impressive 103-51 record and featured several stars. The ball is signed by Yankee icons Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford and Phil Rizzuto, as well as Allie Reynolds, Enos Slaughter, Eddie Lopat and Ralph Houk. 3) In 1955, the Brooklyn Dodgers followed the Giants by winning the World Series. "Dem Bums" were populated by a plethora of legends that year and numerous big names appear on the ball, including Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Sandy Koufax, Gil Hodges, Pee Wee Reese, Don Hoak, Frank Kellert and Walter Alston. Clubhouse: Snider, Furillo, Shuba, Newcombe, Bessent. The condition of the balls is 5/10 and signatures are 7/10. The Giants ball is an ONL Giles ball, the Yankees ball shows no label, and the Dodgers ball is a Dodgers team ball. Includes a PSA LOA for each ball.
