The panache of a Super Bowl ring is something to behold. This ring, presented to Roosevelt "Rosey" Brown for his role with the 1990 Super Bowl-winning New York Giants, oozes class and is steeped in history. Brown, an all-time great offensive lineman for the Giants, won a Super Bowl of his own in 1956 and was enshrined in Canton in 1974, but his impact on the sport continued long after his retirement from play. He continued to faithfully serve the Giants with distinction as both an assistant coach and later a scout, which was his official capacity during the 1990 season. That year the Giants came into the season with high expectations. Powered by a historically good defense, the G-Men did not disappoint, storming to a 13-3 regular season record. Despite losing quarterback Phil Simms in Week 15, they continued to roll through a daunting slate of postseason opponents, and edged the Bills 20-19 in Super Bowl XXV to win their second championship in a game most remembered for Scott Norwood's missed kick in the waning moments. The left shank of the ring reads "Brown," while the right has the score of the game. "Roosevelt Brown" is engraved inside the size 15 ring, along with "LBG 10k" stamped on it. The ring, weighing a robust 47.7g, boasts two football-shaped diamonds on its face, with 16 additional diamonds surrounding it. It is NM and comes with the original box along with an LOA from Brown's wife. This is a truly elegant piece of memorabilia.
