One of the most prolific third basemen in baseball history, Michael Jack Schmidt bashed his way into the Hall of Fame. This Rawlings model 154A was game used by the Phillies' slugger, with moderate-to-heavy use including light pine tar, paint transfers, ball marks and cleat marks. It measures 35", weighs 33 ounces, and has his number "20" in black marker on the knob. This particular bat was used for his 479th career home run and is notated above the label with a bullet and "79." This is consistent with other Schmidt homer bats from the period. Schmidt began to mark his home runs on bats starting with number 400. The bat has a handle crack, but is still graded 9.5 out of 10 by PSA and lot comes with PSA letter.
