In 1998-99, twenty of the MLB's teams tried out the short-lived "Turn Ahead the Clock" promotion. The promotion was originally created in 1998 by the Mariners' marketing director and Ken Griffey Jr. was a large part of the design, however the promotion did not last. Team names changed, position names were changed and even the sponsors changed their names for these "futuristic" games. Offered here is John Marzano's 1998 Seattle Mariners "Turn Ahead the Clock" game worn jersey vest & cap, the first Mariners TATC jersey ever offered. 1998 was also Marzano's final season in the Majors and this incredibly rare style jersey has never been offered before, of any player! The Mariners changed their colors to maroon, black and silver colors enlarged their logo on the front. Size tag "48" on tail and is 100% polyester.
