Regal winner's cup by Stall & Dean bears the exact same image as on the classic T3 Turkey Red Baseball Card. Reed & Barton made (stamp on bottom), who are among the finest silversmiths of the era. Age old symbol of excellence and consistency Ty Cobb stands holding his bat in that unmistakable stance. "Stall & Dean" above his head and "Championship Cup" below. Opposite side of the cup bears elegant inscription: "Champions, Pacific Telephone League - won by Installations." The trophy with three handles, stands almost 9" tall and is in Excellent condition. Comes with photocopy of article promoting the cup, and it was a ploy to get teams to use Stall & Dean uniforms or baseballs. Reads, "Following our custom as in the past of donating a handsome sterling silver trophy cup to the winning club of a league, adopting our official Baseball of Uniforms, we have had one of the leading silversmiths of this country Reed & Barton, design for us a cup of unique design, with French Bronze finish and Gold lined."
