The fact that he was aware enough to to this was supposed proof that Johnson threw the fight (to stay out of prison). The postcard specifically relates to the issue. Entitled, "The Truth" (translated), it asks you to send this postcard in to vote on your opinion of whether Johnson threw the fight or not. On verso is that eaddress to send this to, and a handwritten note by the owner of the big "prize fight" at "Oriental Park" in Mariano on April 5, 1915.
