Historic piece singularly represents THE legendary match-up of modern heavyweight boxing era. On November 9th, 1996 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Evander Holyfield donned this purple satin robe before and after defeating the once unstoppable Iron Mike Tyson in the WBC title fight that will forever be remembered as one of the greatest upsets in boxing history. The sluggers' first fight, after 11 rounds of punishment it ended by the way of TKO in the 11th round. With this celebratory victory, Evander Holyfield joined Mr. Muhammad Ali as the only three time heavyweight champion in history. "PHIL 4:13" is stitched into the left lapel and the upper right of the robe features "Ironhead Originals" logo. But the back closes the deal (literally), reading proudly and accurately. "EVANDER HOLYFIELD...THE REAL DEAL." This robe has been photo-matched to Getty image #72482630. Originally from Evander Holyfield himself and will soon be a treasure of a boxing Hall of Famer when he gets inducted June 11th, 2017 in Canastota, NY. Below is a link to a YouTube video of Holyfield walking out wearing this EXACT robe!
