The 1934 New York Yankees finished seven games out of first place in 1934, second to the Detroit TIgers. But there were plenty of great players on the club, eight of whom signed this Amateur League baseball, including the legendary Babe Ruth (ss) and Lou Gehrig, the former playing his final big-league season. Other signatures include: Earle Combs, Joe McCarthy, Lefty Gomez, Ben Chapman, Art Fletcher and Dixie Walker. "April 1934" is written on the south panel in an unknown hand. The ball was signed around Opening day of the '34 campaign. There is very light shellacking on the ball, with both the Ruth and Gehrig signatures rating a crisp 8/10. Comes with PSA LOA.
