Four-time Olympic Gold Medalist Teresa Edwards was one of the brightest lights ever to shine on the basketball court, and here are two fine examples that celebrate her brilliance: The 1986 FIBA Championship and Goodwill Games gold medals the Georgia native earned as the USA Women's Basketball team defeated the USSR in Moscow both years. The FIBA medal reads: "FIBA, CCCP '86" on the front, and the Goodwill Games medal reads: "Mockba '86," which was the year of the inaugural Goodwill Games started by Ted Turner. The games were a response to the Olympic boycotts and the United States' refusal to attend the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, which followed with the Soviet Union refusing to attend the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Both medals have the same regal red band.
