Yes, we say this quite often, but it's never been more true: they just don't make them like this anymore. Exceptional wool knit sweater was issued to the dead ball pitcher by the Chicago Cubs, for whom Aldridge pitched the first half of his career. Multi-colored yarn gives the sweater a look of irridescence, and condition is exceptionally strong, to the point that it could easily be worn. The only visible wear seems to be on the still-gorgeous felt patch over the heart, which features a rather archaic image of a silhouetted bear. "Stall & Dean" tagging in collar. Acquired from Aldridge directly. LOA.
