From an original portrait dated 1760, this oil-on-canvas reproduction is part of a Limited Edition and itself may go as far back as the mid-1800s. Entitled, "Cricket Match at Brading," it portrays a cricket match in progress with participants wearing red, gold or blue breeches, and tents with Union flag on the left and St George’s flag on the right. Sticker on verso indicates this is 26/150, and some chips are present on the frame. Still an impressive piece, measuring 44x25".
