On October 26, 1970, at City Auditorium in Atlanta, Georgia, heavyweight Muhammad Ali made his comeback after a three year enforced retirement due to his refusal to accept military service. His opponent was the capable Jerry Quarry. Ali scored a third round victory when the referee stopped the fight due to a severe cut on Quarry's face. Offered here is an original, on site poster for this event. This is a paper, on site poster with Leroy Neiman depictions of the fighters in bold color and print, with bold, clear images. Clean front and back, not creased or torn, no tack holes. There is slight toning of the paper from edge and very minor corner wear, one of the nicest examples of this scarce poster we have offered. Measures 14x22".
