After performing the Miracle on Ice with his 1980 Olympic Teammates, Neal Broten went on to a storied 17-year NHL career, culminating in induction into the US Hockey Hall of Fame. This game-worn 1991-92 jersey dates to his time with the Minnesota North Stars and bears a 50 size tag and fight strap, as well as NHL 75th Anniversary patch, Minnesota North Stars 25th Anniversary patch on left shoulder, and "91-92-2" tag inside tail. The road black top has stick marks on both sleeves and displays moderate use, and there is velcro backing for an "A" assistant captain patch on the left shoulder, though the letter is not present. Interestingly, this is the first season that Minnesota moved away from its traditional "N" logo in favor of the "Stars" designation, which would follow the team in its move to Dallas two seasons later.
