Important 1930s artifact originates from Chicago's venerable Wrigley Field, from the inner stadium marquee spelling out "Wrigley Field." All porcelain on metal, it shows some wear and tear with some erosion of the paint at the corners. Came from one of the sales of Wrigley artifacts back in the 1970s. We have seen another nearly identical ticket sign with slightly different pricing and offering. 100% authentic. A similar specimen is shown in a YouTube video under "Cubs marquee letter." Originally it was green before it was red, hence you can still see remnants of the green paint behind the red. Letters & numbers were used to spell out different things below the "Wrigley Field Home of Chicago Cubs" solid marquee. 16x23".
