An interesting curiosity, this jersey was game-used by five-time All-Star Steve Sax. He has dated it 12-4-82, but this appears to be his first Dodgers jersey, bearing the number 52 that he wore only during his initial call-up during the 1981 season. The number "52" on the front and back are all original, "SAX" is sewn directly on the back, and there was at one time another name on the jersey. Goodman tag is in the collar and the button-front top is signed on the front tail in 7/10 marker "To Steve, My Rookie Jersey, Steve Sax "12-4-82." It shows really nice use from the man who won Rookie of the Year in 1982, his first full season in the Majors.
