They are the answer to the trivia question: "Which team did the fabled 1961 Yankees vanquish in the World Series?" Yet, the Cincinnati Reds were hardly slouches themselves that season, winning 93 games before falling in five to the M&M Boys and the rest of the Bronx Bombers. Here's a handsome Official National League Warren Giles baseball signed by 32 members of the 1961 National League Champions, including Fred Hutchinson (ss), Sherman Jones, Jay Hook, Reggie Otero, Dick Sisler, Don Blasingame, Pete Whisenant, Darrell Johnson, Gene Freese, Leo Cardenas, Gordy Coleman, Jim Turner, Elio Chacon, Joey Jay, Jim O'Toole, Johnny Edwards, Dick Gernert, Bill Henry, Howie Nunn, Gus Bell, Otis Douglas, Ken Hunt, Jerry Zimmerman, Eddie Kasko, Jerry Lynch, Wally Post, Vada Pinson and Jim Brosnan. Frank Robinson's signature has been deemed a clubhouse version. Graded overall 7.5 by PSA/DNA, the autographs grade a collective 7, while the ball grades an 8. Encased in a PSA/DNA cube.
