As a follow-up to the popular N28 series of a year earlier, Allen & Ginter issued a second World’s Champions series. Presented is a complete 1888 Allen & Ginter album featuring the cards from the N29 set. The cover does not show any cards, instead displaying a delicate and colorful image of a bugler with a banner hanging down from the horn with the words “World's Champions.” The pictured cards are identical to the real N29 singles except with blank backs. In addition to the popular baseball players, the album contains notable track and field stars, pugilists, tennis players, cyclists and rowers. Stunning color punctuates each page, and while the covers are technically VG due to some minor wear around the original string binding, both appear much better while the pages inside rate EX-MT condition.
