The 1951 Parkhurst hockey set was the first mainstream hockey issue in quite some time, and very similar to the 1986-87 Fleer basektball set, it contains many Hall of Fame rookie cards. The key to the 105 cards set is the Gordie Howe rookie card, which is widely considered the 1952 Topps MIckey Mantle rookie of the hockey card world. This offered example is very pleasing to the eye, and has been graded by Sportscard Guaranty Corporation (SGC) at the esteemed tier of SGC 86 NM 7.5. Four sharp corners, clean surfaces and wonderful centering lend credibility to an even higher grade. This is one of the top hockey cards in the entire hobby. SGC Graded 86 NM+ 7.5.
