Created in the early days of sports photography, this massive size and quality of format is a rarity. This is an extremely large format of a young Terry McGovern posing in the studio for an important portrait, measuring overall 20x24". Backed on board, excellent resolution, before they started posing with gloves. He won both the World Bantamweight and Featherweight Titles. The piece is truly striking with a great image of the fighter, circa 1901, in the peak of his prime.
