These 1960s images depict Muhammad Ali's triumphant return to Louisville as World Champion. Included are him speaking at the famed Galt House, where he was later inducted into the Kentucky Hall of Fame and as Kentucky Athlete of the Century. Lot boasts three strips of six 35mm black and white negatives plus a single separate image which is pictured separately, in NRMT condition. The original negatives and images in this collection are by the personal photographer of Ali's manager Herbert Muhammad. Unpublished, they have not seen the light of day for five decades. Recently discovered, they come with the photographer’s rights. All of the negs/transparencies are unique, “Type I” images that can be used to make prints and products of the finest quality and huge scale.
